Should something on the Indian theater not be mentioned? Frontiersmen burned villages of Indians all across the Appalachians and beyond. I'd write something on it but my knowledge of it is rudimentary Denis Cavanagh 20:15, 4 January 2008 (CST)

the Indians, armed by the Brits, raided scores of frontier settlements killing all inhabitants. The Americans burned empty villages, driving the Indians ito Canada.Richard Jensen 20:17, 4 January 2008 (CST)
I know Burgoyne had Indian Scouts in his army, but I was under the impression that the Frontiersmen were the agressors against the Indians -> Thousands of Americans desired to settle in lands forbidden to them by the British and once war broke out, saw a chance to do something about it (Or so I thought). Do you know of any online articles I could read about it? Denis Cavanagh 20:21, 4 January 2008 (CST)
I added a brief section; it needs more on the southern Indians. There is a good treatment of Joseph Brant in the online Dictionary of Canadian BiographyRichard Jensen 20:49, 4 January 2008 (CST)
