Be sure to distinguish two topics here (which we might cover in one article--or not), namely the character Batman and the various Batman comic books. --Larry Sanger 13:10, 5 February 2007 (CST)

And between The Batman comics and Batman film. I know nothing about the comics, but usually the comics and the movies differ significantly, so I thought I'd mention it as well. Also, the 1960s camp show with whatsisname...wait...don't tell me, I'll remember in a second...yep, Adam West, wasn't it? Aleta Curry 20:20, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Hey, quick question - does anyone know the copyright for that image in this article? -- Sarah Tuttle 18:34, 29 March 2007 (CDT)

Constable deleted image as there was no copyright information whatso ever on the uploaded file. Must have copyright release for image for upload to Citizendium.

Is this the primary meaning of Batman?

i.e. the one most people would think of first when they hear the term? I think probably yes, if so I'll create a disambig. page to accomodate the British soldier--and maybe "batsman". What do you think? Aleta Curry 20:26, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Probably those other terms can go on Batman (disambiguation). John Stephenson 21:23, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Reestructure

It would be best if there's a difference between the "fiction story" (wat the article now mainly is), and the "real story" (like telling how did Bob Kane came to idea, the public reception, etc.). --Nicolás A. Ramírez 14:04, 7 March 2008 (CST)
