Move to elasticity (economics)?

I propose to move this page to elasticity (economics), as elasticity is an important engineering and materials science phenomenon, and the common use of the term elasticity (or elastic) is a reference to the material property, not economics. Anthony Argyriou 12:27, 18 January 2008 (CST)

Should there rather, be a disambiguation page? Nick Gardner 16:18, 19 January 2008 (CST)

Yes, there should be a disambiguation page, with two separate pages for elasticity (economics) and elasticity (materails?). AS there is not yet the second article, we can delay the disambiguation page until someone wishes to write it! Martin Baldwin-Edwards 16:25, 19 January 2008 (CST)
Now that I've started the elasticity (physics) page, I've made the page move as discussed above. Wow, is it a chore to move subpaginated pages. Anthony Argyriou 19:22, 12 February 2008 (CST)

Algebra and charts

We have discussed the usefulness of introducing charts and algebra and decided that they should go into tutorials subpages where they will not be a deterrent to readers who lack a mathematical bent, but will be accessible to those who prefer that approach. If there are no objections, I will transfer and develop the algebra that has been inserted - in due course. Nick Gardner 15:35, 19 January 2008 (CST)
