By the way, didn't E. Howard Hunt recently confess to who was behind the JFK Assassination? It was an article that I think was published in Rolling Stone, and it was revealed recently. See (http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/13893143/the_last_confessions_of_e_howard_hunt/print) --Robert W King 14:33, 15 May 2007 (CDT)

Wow, that article is long. I will read it later and may add relevant stuff on the article. According to Wikipedia summary of this confession, apparently Johnson did it, which is what I have thought about. Yi Zhe Wu 15:13, 15 May 2007 (CDT)
Whoa! LBJ? And Cuban hit men? Who knew? Whatever. We'll never know. --Thomas Simmons 20:18, 15 May 2007 (CDT)
The Howard Hunt confession just added on to the article. Thanks for the information, Robert. Yi Zhe Wu 15:09, 18 May 2007 (CDT)

Contradiction between first paragraph and "Assassination" section

In the first paragraph you say he was "supposedly assassinated by....". In the latter second you say "he was assassinated by...." This should be consistent. Hayford Peirce 15:45, 18 May 2007 (CDT)

The wording has been changed in the latter second. Thank you for pointing that out. Yi Zhe Wu 17:37, 18 May 2007 (CDT)
(1) "However, many any number of contradictory and unfounded conspiracy theories circulated for decades." Should this be in the past tense? "Circulated" suggests "case closed", does it not? Perhaps it could be rewritten to suggest "still circulate" or "case still open"? (2) And should there be reference in this section to the Congressional Committee of the late 1970s (reference needed) which Did Admit that there probably Was a conspiracy? Is that not a vital fact that may be necessary here, because it involves a U.S. Government viewpoint, which fits with the content of the rest of the section?Jeffrey Scott Bernstein 04:18, 8 October 2007 (CDT)
past tense is optional (presumably the theories will circulate for the next 100 years). The committee stuff was not convincing. (something about echoes on a police radio tape.) the report was issued by one congressman (Gonzales of Texas) and was not endorsed by Congress.Richard Jensen 04:24, 8 October 2007 (CDT)

Addition to Legacy?

Should there be mention of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library and Museum in Boston, Ma?Jeffrey Scott Bernstein 04:29, 8 October 2007 (CDT)

yes--please put it in with link to its homepage Richard Jensen 04:32, 8 October 2007 (CDT)
Sorry, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put the reference in the Legacy section or the External Links section. If the Legacy section is right, then I am not sure how to make a link to the home page.Jeffrey Scott Bernstein 04:41, 8 October 2007 (CDT)

Should there also be mention of Hammersmith Farm, the mansion in Newport where John and Jackie were married? (Oh, it's not open to the public anymore.)Jeffrey Scott Bernstein 04:45, 8 October 2007 (CDT)

I think we can skip the wedding place--let Wikipedia handle that. there is a separate section for external links and the Library has lots of *** info on JFK. Richard Jensen 06:06, 8 October 2007 (CDT)

neutrality

The intro seems pretty mean. His sexual affairs come before any mention of being President, Cuban missile crisis, etc. Perhap is can be reworded David E. Volk 20:11, 6 January 2008 (CST)

I rephrased it, to make the chronological order clear. He was not known to be mean to his many sexmates. Richard Jensen 21:04, 6 January 2008 (CST)
