Current employment: Associate Professor/Clinical in the School of Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Education: Diploma in nursing from Decatur Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Decatur IL, 1978 Bachelor's of Science In Nursing from Maryville University, St. Louis, 1990 Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, 1994 PhD in Preventive Medicine and Community Health with a focus in Rehabilitation Science from UTMB-Galveston 2005

Interests include rehabilitation nursing, disability, community reentry. Currently conducting research into the civilian contract workers who have served in Iaq and Afghanistan in support of OEF and OIF.
