I am a currently working on an MA degree in social science with an emphasis on medieval European history at the University of Chicago. I have recently graduated with a BA in English and a BA in History, also focusing on medieval literature and history. My interests within my field include English, German and French political and social history, especially kingship and the nobility, kinship, family structures, and marriage. I'm particularly interested in the intersection between religion and lay society within the medieval world. I have reading knowledge of Latin and French, and hope to acquire German soon.
