The first 18 years of my life were spent in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I attended Punahou High School. Upon graduation, I attended Oregon State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduating in 2004, I continued my education under Larry Marple, Ph.D. in signal processing. Recently I have come to acknowledge the importance of mathematics both in my education and in everyday occurrences, and decided to also pursue a graduate degree in Applied Mathematics under Yevgeniy Kovchegov, Ph.D., also at Oregon State University.
