American photographer (New York 1950). Initially interested in pictures of landscape, in the seventies began to photograph artists in New York. The series made famous in the factory of Andy Warhol. Of note in this period the number of shots "Never Mind" that depicts the work of Julian Schnabel. In 1980 he won the prize Kulturische Preis. In the late nineties, he moved on the Amalfi coast to make delicate landscape photos. In 1993 is present at the Biennale del Sud. In 1997 he participated at Documenta X in a project of Vito Acconci Studio. A large group of photographs of the author is part of the collection Cavaldi merged in the archives of the Foucault Foundation in Naples. He lives and works in New York.
