Citizendium Getting Started
Quick Start | About us | Help system | Start a new article | For Wikipedians

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! D. Matt Innis 19:42, 28 June 2008 (CDT)

Tennis

Hi, and welcome aboard. I've been the resident tennis guru here at CZ for a while now, but haven't added anything lately. If you're a fan of Roger Federer, there's already an article about him that could use some updating and more info. I don't think there's anything yet about Venus Williams (about the only modern player I'll occasionally turn on the TV to watch), but there sure ought to be! Why don't you start one? Mashup graphics

Hi Busola, I really like the Mashup article. Would you please check that all the graphics are legal? None that I looked at really indicate who created the graphic and whether CZ has permission to display it. CZ constables are quite strict that we need written permission to use anyone else's photograghs or graphics unless they are previously published on the web with a permissive license. It might be necessary to substitute ones that we, or hopefully you, have created yourselves.Pat Palmer 09:31, 30 August 2008 (CDT)

Continuing welcomes

I'm delighted to see you here after the class is over. Let me know if I can be of help on any Computers areas, although I'm a network engineering sort of person. Howard C. Berkowitz 01:41, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
