Larry, I suggest a link to an article on "improvisation", which would cover all instruments. You could remove some of the text here, and simply refer to the importance of improvisation as an evolution of unwritten music. Do we have an article on "folk music"? We should, and also stress its important role in the evolution of western classical music (e,g, Liszt, Chopin, Bartok, etc etc).This article could then also be linked with tthe folk music one. --[[User:Martin Baldwin-Edwards|Martin Baldwin-Edwards]] 18:41, 14 September 2007 (CDT)
