:The orange button with an M will take your to the metadata page if you just want to read the contents.  It is important to assign only valid workgroups, not ones you make up.  You can see the full list of workgroups at the "workgroups" link to the left under the communicate section. ::Flippin' Chris! (hehe). You just kept me from entering: Hi, Thomas. Click on the Metadata link just to the right on this page, then type in Visual Arts in the first "Cat1" that you see. Check out the Metadata page for [[Waldo Peirce]] at http://en.citizendium.org/wiki?title=Template:Waldo_Peirce/Metadata&action=edit -- the format has changed slightly in the last couple of years but it's basically the same. I don't know how to assign a workgroup.--Thomas Wright Sulcer 18:42, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

You can assign up to three different workgroups. They should be written into the fields cat1-cat3 in the metadata template. You can get to edit mode for that page by clicking either "metadata here" in the orange box above, or see use the hyperlink "metadata template" in the talk page header.
The orange button with an M will take your to the metadata page, if you just want to read the contents. It is important to assign only valid workgroups, not ones you make up. You can see the full list of workgroups at the "workgroups" link to the left under the communicate section. Chris Day 18:50, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
